This shoot was the first that we created together as a team so will always feel special. It blossomed… (yep, I went there!!) from my love of spring. New awakenings and that feel of endless possibilities. We wanted to show our couples just how beautifully those delicate colours can pop when it is working against the blue of the dining room. We had the vision and the results still wowed us.

Caroline Chamberlain created this dress with the shoot and my ramblings in mind and it worked so perfectly offering that romantic (dare I say it Georgian feel) which complimented the house so perfectly. The wistful up do created by Robyn at Perfect Silhouette complimented the dress perfectly allowing us to truly appreciate the beauty and shape of the dress which was worn so beautifully by Georgia our model.

Georgia and Josh our model couple from Lincolnshire are a real couple which really added to the spirit of the day. Those looks of love are real folks with Georgia’s beautiful face being treated to some natural, peachy tones that simply accentuated her natural beauty by Olivia Faith.

Josh wore a beautiful pale blue Marc Darcy suit provided by Fallen Hero which tied into the colour scheme perfectly and pulled everything together. Remember that you are allowed to be out there with your fashion choices for your wedding day – it’s just as important that the grooms feel gorgeous too!

The styling and florals of the whole shoot were created by Ruby Adds from Ruby and Co. I can go to Ruby with an idea in my heads and she (in true Ruby fashion) just nods and gets the job done, even when it means cutting the blossom branches from her own garden trees. She is a true asset to any couple’s day. Her eye for detail is exquisite and you wouldn’t be judged for asking if those flowers were real… they all are, the scent was incredible!

Sophie Ruck shot the whole day beautifully capturing all the detail that was added including Leslea Matsis’s amazing cake that was spotted just days before the shoot at a wedding fair but fitted into the brief so perfectly. Sophie’s style suited this shoot perfectly, not just photographically but also physically having her on site. She brings a warm and relaxed manner to any day, and we love seeing her in the house.
