The Elm Tree offers a tranquil, calm location for you to celebrate the life of your loved one with our funeral wake service. Our garden offers an oasis of calm for quiet reflection and celebration of life.
You can celebrate, reflect and raise a glass or a cuppa to the departed, knowing our dedicated team is on hand for your every need. We understand that planning a funeral can be an overwhelming experience, so our caring team is here to help with arranging the wake; making sure you give your loved ones a deserving send-off. Our dedicated team will be at hand for your every need, allowing you to know that your wake will run smoothly.
Venue Hire for your wake is £100, with a funeral tea available for £15 per person.

Funeral Teas
The Elm Tree currently offers a fixed funeral tea menu, but if you have specific requirements or allergies, please contact us and we will do our very best to accommodate your request. Our current funeral tea menu includes:
- Four different sandwiches
- Savoury items
- Four different cakes
- Scone with jam and cream
- Tea & coffee
The price for the above menu is £15 per person. A fully stocked bar is also available.
